Dream Seekers Corporation (or DS Corp. for short) is a company dedicated to researching lucid dreaming and more specifically, reoccuring instances of locations, themes, and entities within the lucid dreams of different people. We strive to log and to research the through lines between reoccuring dreams and dream locations shared by unrelated individuals. DS Corp. uses funds from this research to further dive into the strange and bizzare findings we unearth as well as to financially compensate volunteers who donate their time to the cause of lucid dream research.
Using patented Lucid Overseeing Test Equipments, or LOTEs, we have been able to monitor and record dreams for viewing from the conscious world. One piece of this equipment is the Dream Monitor: a screen that displays what the dreamer is seeing in real time. While motion captures are not possible at this time, still shots can be taken and are called Dream Monitor Captures, or DMCs.
Currently, DS Corp. is researching a reoccuring dream location called "The Dreamlands". This series of locations have also been given a formal name of "The Dreamlands of Kafkynor".
In addition to the volunteer dreamers, research shows there are also beings that appear to inhabit The Dreamlands. While many look like humans with conventionally incorrect proportions, one very prominent inhabitant is a bipedal living plush that calls himself Wibyrn. The following image is a Dream Monitor Capture (or DMC) of him:
We have had difficulty capturing any further DMCs of Wibyrn ourselves despite the fact that volunteers keep seeing him. This remains, at this moment, our clearest DMC of him.
More DMCs of Wibyrn have been captured! To view all available DMCs of Wibyrn, simply click or tap on the Picture above!
Then to get back to this page from there, click or tap the DS Corp. logo at the bottom of that page!
We have also discovered an individual, or individuals, who make many depictions of Wibyrn that very closely, if not identically resemble what he looks like in the DMC. This individual (or individuals) also seem to capture and record other phenomena within The Dreamlands of Kafkynor. This brings us to our other findings:
An Unknown Archivist has been recording information about The Dreamlands, hiding information in the descriptions in songs in albums of the same name, as well as documenting stories and testimonies of other anonymous individuals. The given "correct" order to view the albums We have so far established is the following:
The Sound Footage in the Waves album is most likely lost Dream Seeker Corporation sound footage with a depiction of the ever-elusive Wibyrn for an album cover. It is somewhat commendable that this individual manages to get so much captured audio, though this is offset by the audio stolen from DS Corp. It is unknown how this mysterious archivist has such access to this technology, but we have people searching into it.
Another notable detail is that the cover for the third album does not contain an image of Wibyrn, and may simply be a photo of the archivist himself, however, his face cannot be seen, and if this is the archivist, then it begs the question: who took the photo? However, if this is instead a DMC, who is the dreamer? Furthermore, how did an anonymous individual gain access to the equipment to take a DMC?
If you are interested in participating in the research we are doing; have had dreams where you have seen "Wibyrn" or something like it; seen a location in one of your dreams that you suspect may be part of these dreamlands; have information regarding the dream Mage; or have depictions from reoccurring dreams, Please contact us at DreamSeekerCorporation@gmail.com
10/1/23: A new song has been added to the "Waves" Album. It is titled "Hotel Pools". This is Unique Audio. It has also been brought to our attention that the archivist has our website linked in the album description. Why he has done this, is yet to be determined. A company bandcamp page will be created to host audio recorded by The Dream Seekers Corporation, in an effort to protect audio clips from being uploaded by this archivist.
10/2/23: A company bandcamp has been established. The first album will be uploaded within the next 1-2 weeks. Individuals who are interested may find the link here.
10/9/23: The album release will need to be delayed. We need more volunteers for research. Flyers will need to be made and distributed to raise awareness for our project and to hopefully bring in some new volunteers.
10/11/23: Some flyers have been hung up, more to come. Company YouTube channel has been made, and can be found here. Still looking for volunteers and individuals willing to share their experiences.
10/18/23: We've been working on ways to record motion captures within dreams. The technology is unreliable. Tests to determine the best way to build a motion capture card for the dream monitor have been temporarily suspended. So far, we have lost 3 computers from the internal systems being completely fried, and a 4th computer has been deemed completely unsuitable because of its inability to both run the dream monitor's drivers, and run other neccesary functions at the same time. We are down to a single computer to run the dream monitor and we still require volunteers. More flyers have been put up.
10/25/23: Still no new volunteers. New computers have been purchased, and research on dream monitor motion capturing has resumed. New breakthroughs have been found using analogue tapes rather than a solid state drive or hard drive as media storage. We are still running into road blocks concerning simultaneous live data streaming and decoding. Further research will be required, and custom tape is being developed.
11/3/23: The first album of recordings has been released and can be found here. The research is progressing nicely, and we hope to get some footage as soon as we can.
1/8/24: On 11/11/23, while on the verge of capturing the first motion dream capture, a critical malfunction occured between the new equipment and the computer, causing a chain reaction of events which short circuited and destroyed the motherboard, overheated the processor, warped the heat sync, and both damaged and corrupted the hard drive. All data has been lost. New computers have been purchased and research will continue as soon as possible.
1/24/24: The first successful Dream Monitor Motion Capture, or DMMC, has been created. Though the computer that was being used to capture the DMMC was destroyed, our engineers were swift, and able to recover the video and to restore what portions were corrupted. The next steps for this line of research will be to perfect the process and to find a way to capture and create more DMMCs without further destruction of equipment. The DMMC will be uploaded to the Dream Seekers Corporation YouTube channel. The channel can be found here.
1/30/24: Research seems to be going backwards. We went from the capture of a complete video with full audio and good framerate to what can essentially be boiled down to an elaborate slideshow which has about a 20% chance of having any audio. The engineers keep saying that "Sometimes, in order to move forward, you must take a few steps back." While this may be true, if progress is not made soon, the director will not be pleased. On a more positive note, however, these "slideshows" have made it possible for us to capture more DMCs of Wibyrn. A new page will be made to upload DMCs of Wibyrn as they are captured and processed.
3/4/24: Still nothing new has been produced in regards to DMMCs. Recently captured DMCs are pointless to post, as they'd only get drowned by the tens of thousands of "liminal space" photos across the internet. The new DMCs of Wibyrn could be posted, however, they are awaiting approval for public sharing. On another note, the "Unknown Archivist" has posted another album on his bandcamp. To go through all the track descriptions is tedious, but enlightening. He has posted so much new information which will very likely help us in our research. The description of the "Central Lobby" is quite cryptic as well. It also has a typo, which says, "The ever-changing Heart of the Cube that always seem the Same." rather than, "The ever-changing Heart of the Cube that always seems the same." The grammar also seems off, as if it is poetry written in the form of prose. The statement that the Dream Station is always changing is also reiterated throughout the album, included somewhere in almost every song description. It is also likely worth mentioning the obvious fact that though the album's cover art has what appears to be a schematic sketch of part of this "Dream Station", no measurements, layouts, or other technical aspects are included in what little has been given. There is also the fact that there are no depictions of Wibyrn on the album's cover. The only other album relating to The Dreamlands that has do depiction of Wibyrn is the album, "A Fight to Dream About". The inclusion of acapella recordings is also interesting to note. The words "perceived" and "perceivable" are also misspelled, somehow forgetting the "I before E except after C" rule entirely. The songs, "Kitchen", "Distant Jingles", and "E-kk0 Chamber" have no descriptions. The mainframe is also a very interesting piece both in its musicality, and in its description. "Flooby" also seems very pointless in its inclusion. The only description for the song "Flooby" is, "Flooby." For now, this will be the only update. DMCs of Wibyrn will be posted upon approval of publication.
3/5/24: Approval has been given to upload the most Recent DMC of Wibyrn. A page has been created to host all DMCs of Wibyrn and can be easily accessed though the clearest DMC of him up above, by simply clicking on it.
